Blinn-to-HCU Transfer Agreement

Through a transfer and co-enrollment agreement between the Blinn College District and Houston Christian University (HCU), Blinn electrical engineering students can apply their credits toward a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Engineering from HCU, and Blinn computer science students can apply their credits toward a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from HCU.

As part of this agreement, Blinn students receive valuable benefits when transferring to HCU:

• HCU will waive the application frees for Blinn students and employees.
• HCU will provide an HCU Transfer Merit Award Scholarship for qualifying undergraduate students or a 33% tuition discount for transfers admitted with at least a 2.0 GPA, whichever is greater.
• Phi Theta Kappa honors society students in good standing will receive an additional $3,000 scholarship per year.
• Students who enroll in an online degree program at HCU will have their application fee waived and will receive a 15% tuition discount.
• Blinn students who are on active military duty and veterans will receive a discounted tuition rate of $250 per credit hour when they submit an LES or DD-214.
