Our Economics Program provides a solid foundation in economic theory and its practical applications with courses that include microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, and econometrics. With these skills in hand, our students transfer to some of the state’s leading bachelor’s degree programs, including Texas A&M, Sam Houston State, the University of Houston, the University of Texas-San Antonio, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Tarleton State, and more.

Blinn courses are highly transferrable, and our students have transferred to Texas A&M, Sam Houston State, the University of Houston, the University of Texas-San Antonio, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and Tarleton State.
Blinn economics graduates have gone on to pursue successful careers in a variety of fields, including finance, consulting, government, and nonprofit organizations. Many have also pursued advanced degrees in economics, law, business, and public policy. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, economists earned a median salary of $105,630 per year in 2021.
