Blinn livestock judging team places sixth at prestigious Cattleman's Congress

Blinn's Grant Kubala is seventh among individual competitors

Grant KubalaBlinn College’s livestock judging team recently placed sixth at the highly competitive Cattlemen’s Congress in Oklahoma City, Okla. with 4,470 points.

Blinn’s Grant Kubala placed seventh overall, finishing ninth in cattle, 10 th in cattle reasons, and 11 th in reasons.

Lane Hogan placed 19 th overall, including 15th in cattle reasons. Owen Seidenberger was second in hogs and third in cattle reasons and reasons. Mason Wurzbach placed eighth in hogs and 14 th in sheep/goats.

Blinn is ranked sixth among community colleges in LivestockJudging.com’s national rankings for the 2024-25 school year, compiling a 1.277 rating.

Livestock judging is part of Blinn’s Agricultural Sciences Program, which has one of the most active extracurricular programs in the state, including the Agriculture Club, wildlife, agriculture mechanics, and horticulture.
