'Sounds of the Season' returns to Round Top's Festival Hill on Dec. 8

Blinn College Wind Symphony and choirs will ring in the holidays

The Blinn College District Music Program invites the community to enjoy a holiday tradition with its popular “Sounds of the Season” concert Sunday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m. in Festival Hill in Round Top.

Blinn’s acclaimed Wind Symphony and combined choirs will perform at the unique 1,000-seat concert hall venue, noted for its exceptional acoustics. Tickets are $10 and available at www.blinn.edu/boxoffice.

“We are excited to share our students with the public and kick off the holiday season with our annual concert at Round Top Festival Hill,” said Dr. Sarah Burke, Director of Bands. “We will again be featuring both our choral and instrumental programs and have a special second half featuring the combined efforts of the Blinn College Choirs and Blinn College Wind Symphony.”

The choirs will be under the direction of Dr. Larry Smith, Director of Choirs.
