Blinn announces 2024-2025 season of the Performing Arts Series

New season brings Michael Bublé and Journey tribute performances as well as Celtic music and a swing band

The Blinn College District’s 2024-25 Performing Arts Series will bring four toe-tapping musical performances to the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Center in the newly announced season.

Featuring the music of Michael Bublé and Journey, traditional Celtic music and dance, and even a swing band, the upcoming Performing Arts Series schedule features:

• “Feelin’ Good (The Ultimate Michael Bublé Experience),” Sunday, Oct. 20,
• “Resurrection: A Journey Tribute,” Sunday, Nov. 10,
• “Celtic Angels Ireland,” Sunday, March 23, and
• Phat Cat Swinger’s “The Wonderful World of Swing,” Sunday, April 13.

All four shows will take place at 5 p.m. at the O’Donnell Center, located at 600 Blinn Boulevard on the Blinn College-Brenham Campus.

Returning season ticket holders will receive an emailed invoice for renewals of the same seats on July 24. Patrons can follow the link in the email and pay online or call or visit the box office in the lobby of the O’Donnell Center through Aug. 7. Newcomers can add their names to the season ticket waitlist using the online form through Aug. 7.

Season ticket renewals are available at www.blinn.edu/boxoffice, in person at the box office between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. July 29 through Aug. 2, and by calling 979-830-4024.

Season ticket sales open to everyone on Aug. 10, and individual show tickets open Aug. 14. Special pre-show receptions are available for $15 apiece and are available up to five days prior to the performance.

Feelin’ Good (The Michael Bublé Experience)

With several talented arrangers in the band itself, they whistled a happy tune and worked hard adapting the rich musical history to the iconic Phat Cat Swinger sound.

What resulted is a show that is perfect to dance to! Swing, cha cha, and mambo across the sky as you “Wish Upon a Star.” Even “Be Prepared” to do a tango, waltz and let loose a “yeehaw!”
