Blinn College names 2,359 students to its fall 2023 chancellor's and deans' scholars lists
1,077 students earned Chancellor's Scholar honors with GPAs of at least 3.75

The Blinn College District has named 2,359 students to its academic honors lists for the fall 2023 semester.
Blinn named 1,077 students to its Chancellor’s Scholars List and 1,282 to the Deans’ Scholars List. To be named a Chancellor’s Scholar, students must earn a 3.75 GPA, complete at least 12 credit hours, and pass all their courses. Students must attain a 3.25 GPA, complete at least 12 credit hours, and pass all their courses to earn Deans’ Scholar recognition.
“I am pleased to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the outstanding students who earned academic recognition during the fall 2023 semester. Their accomplishments are a source of pride for the entire Blinn community,” said Dr. Mary Hensley, Chancellor of the Blinn College District. “I also want to express my deep appreciation to the faculty and staff who provided these students with guidance and encouragement throughout the semester.”
Blinn’s honorees came from across the State of Texas and beyond, including Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Blinn honors students also hail from across the globe, including Argentina, Colombia, England, Guatemala, Honduras, The Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, South Africa, South Korea, Sweden, and Vietnam.
