The Blinn College District Board of Trustees authorized the College to develop a partnership with Sealy ISD that would allow Blinn to offer in-person courses at Sealy ISD facilities. With this agreement, Blinn plans to continue to provide all its current Sealy Campus programs and activities at Sealy ISD facilities.

Blinn opened the Sealy Campus in 2005 and preliminary enrollment reports for the fall 2022 semester indicate that 43 students are enrolled at the campus. Blinn has been exploring a change in location in Sealy and initiated discussions with Sealy ISD on a potential partnership that would relocate Sealy Campus operations to Sealy ISD facilities.

The board also received a report regarding the redistricting of Blinn Board of Trustees precincts in response to the 2020 U.S. Census data. The board anticipates having final action on the adoption of the new precinct maps at the November 15, 2022, meeting.

In other action, trustees authorized the College to negotiate and execute a contract for engineering services and to seek competitive sealed proposals for the expansion of Parking Lot K near the Doyle Coatney Center on the Brenham Campus.
