Blinn College-Schulenburg course offers organic pest and weed control solutions

Community education course will meet May 17 and 19

As flea and tick season approaches, the Blinn College-Schulenburg Campus is offering tips and techniques to eliminate pests and weeds without the use of dangerous chemicals.

Blinn will offer Organic Pest and Weed Control, a two-day course taking place from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, May 17 and 19. The $39 course provides homeowners and gardeners with organic strategies for getting rid of fleas, chiggers, ticks, scorpions, and weeds. Instructor David Will, owner of Landscape Details and the former grounds manager at Fiesta Texas, will share natural methods to eliminate pests and weeds without the use of dangerous chemicals.
